Historical development of the Bedrich Hrozny School in Lysa nad Labem within the regional development

The thesis deals with the development of education in the town of Lysá nad Labem, taking into account the historical development of the town and the region. The thesis also describes the history of Lysá nad Labem with an emphasis on education. The aim of the thesis is to map the historical development of the oldest elementary school in Lysá nad Labem. The main source of the work are school chronicles and memorial books, which are kept in the depository of the State district archive - Nymburk, located in Lysá nad Labem. The work deals with the historical development of this school in a particular period namely the years 1878-1945. The work is of a historical character, and the original sources and archival documents were used in its creation. Methodologically, the thesis is based on the historical comparative method, as well as the analysis and synthesis. Historical work is not divided into a theoretical and practical part, but is predominantly theoretical in its character. Educational system in Borovany in 1918-1948 in the light of chronicles

This bachelor thesis describes development of education and training in Borovany between 1918-1948. The work is divided into five chapters that follow each other chronologically and include a description of the development of education in Borovany by information from school chronicles. These chapters are further divided thematically. At the beginning of these thesis is described the history of the town and its schools, which serve the general view on this subject. The next chapters that are aimed directly at some specific period in which it is mapped events that affected education in Borovany. This is especially the period after the establishment of independent Czechoslovakia, World War II and the postwar period. The work should contribute to the mapping of education in Borovany in the period 1918-1948.

The beginnings and development of education in Jindřichův Hradec

The work deals with the origins of development of education in the town of Jindřichův Hradec (Neuhaus, Nova Domus). It briefly describes the history of the city, and it mentions the development of the school system in Bohemia. The study follows the development of educational facilities in Jindřichův Hradec from its beginnings in the Middle Ages up to the climax in the form of the University. The greatest attention is paid to the local pride of education - "grammar school" with its more than four hundred-year-old history - while trying not to miss any of the schools that arose in the town over the centuries. The study demonstrates the importance of Jindřichův Hradec as the school centre of more than regional significance.

History of primary schools in Týn nad Vltavou and surroundings

The thesis deals with educational and school development and history of certain schools in Týn nad Vltavou and its surroundings by the end of 19th century. The first part of the project guides you through a brief history of the region and later through educational and school development during different time periods. In the last chapter i describe school history of chosen schools. The story of school development in Týn nad Vltavou follows history, school buildings and their keeping, the board of school governors, teachers their duties and compensation and a notable figure of Czech history K. A. Vinařický. The history of village schools presents available historical information and events. The schools in Modrá Hůrka, Koloděje nad Lužnicí and Křtěnov were cancelled. The school building in Křtěnov still exists together with the church and the presbytery building, as a memory of the vanished village that was demolished because of the Nuclear Plant Temelín. The one-class school in Neznašov and the two-class school in Žimutice still serve their original purpose.
